Somebody asked me this yesterday. She asked me, "If God is so forgiving, why is there a hell?" I didn't know what to say...all I said was that "You can't question God." ... ;D Is that right? I mean, what do you people think?

Well, God IS forgiving. But to get to Heaven you have to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and believe He died on the cross for you. To get to Heaven you have to go through Him. Hell is for those who won't accept Jesus as their Savior and/or even believe in Him or ask God for forgiveness. Everybody deserves Hell. But through Jesus we can ask for forgiveness of our sins and go to Heaven.
I feel a little insecure right now, so forgive me if I have gotten something wrong.
p.s. ::waves:: HI EVERYONE! I'm new here, and I shall stay forever! Tee hee!

my dear brother perhaps it would help to tell your friend that god did not create hell for mankind but for satan and his angles. He does not wish that anyone should go there.but he is holy and in the new world he's bringing (heaven) there can be no sin. now we can not free ourselves of sin. for this reason our heavenly father provided a way. that way can only be by the merrits of jesus christ son of god,and this is done by an act of acceptance, trust, and faith in jesus. the choice is ours to make. god bless you see you in heaven!
